
Konstantine P. Georgakakos, Sc.D.Dr. Georgakakos holds M.S. and Sc.D. Degrees in Hydrology and Water Resources from MIT. He is the Director of the Hydrologic Research Center in San Diego, California (www.hrc-lab.org). He is also Adjunct Professor at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography of UCSD. Dr. Georgakakos has been elected Fellow of the American Meteorological Society and has received the John Olver Water Resources Leadership Award from the Water Resources Research Center of the University of Massachusetts, the US National Science Foundation Presidential Young Investigator Award and The University of Iowa University Faculty Scholar Award. He serves as an Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Hydrology in surface hydrology, hydrometeorology and hydroclimatology.
