
Professor Geoff SymeDr Geoff Syme is Professor of Planning at Edith Cowan University. He has had 33 years experience as a social researcher in the area of water resources management and natural resource management in urban and regional planning.. He has led major national research projects in the areas of catchment management, and social justice issues associated with water re-allocation. He is also an experienced consultant providing advice to over thirty government agencies and a variety of private industries. He is a regular peer reviewer for universities. He received a CSIRO Medal for excellence in research in the area of water conservation and allocation.
